B:what role did he play in the building of our nation

I am so proud of myself. I have accomplished so much and I hope that I can do even more! So many people have told me that I am playing a big role in building our nation. Those kinds of comments have made me so happy! I guess in a way I am playing a big role. I mean, I certainly have been a ,part of many things, and I would consider myself as a fire brand if I may say so myself!

Here is a timeline of everything I have done (my accomplishments):


1740- I graduated from Harvard College

1743- I received my masters degree from Harvard

1747- The Boston town meeting elected me as clerk; My friends and I form a political club

1764- I protested to the Sugar Act; I helped organize the Sons of Liberty; I attended the Sons of Liberty first protest

1765- Massachusetts elected me to be in the general court; I wrote a letter attacking the Stamp Act
1767- I opposed the Townsend Act
1770- I convinced Thomas Hutchinson to send the British troops out of the city
1772- I called for the colonies to form Committee of Correspondence to discuss British politics and how to change them
1773- I helped organize the Boston Tea Party and I played a major role in it

1774- I organized the distribution of smuggled food donations; I attended the first Continental Congress

1775- I attended the second Continental congress

1776- I signed the Declaration of Independence

1779- I helped draft the Massachusetts Constitution

1781- I was elected president of Massachusetts State Senate

1788- I supported the U.S. Constitution and I called for a Bill of Rights

1789- I became Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts

1793- I became Governor

1794- I was elected Governor for a second time

This timeline is very helpful in understanding when things happened. It also is a great visual for what Samuel Adams did.
