statement of process

STATEMENT OF PROCESS:
When I was told about this project, I went to the library to get books on Samuel Adams because I knew that I could understand things better if I read stories about him. I read a whole 100 page book and skimmed through other books to get a good understanding of his life. I answered the questions one by one so that it would be easier for me to break down the projects into little parts. My method of doing this project, was that I would do all the easier questions first, to get them out of the way, and then focus on doing the
harder questions. I tried to make my posts as detailed as possible. Every time I read something new on him, I would take notes and then add them into my posts (even if I already wrote and published them). I think I really did a good job on this project, and I am very proud of how it turned out.

reflection

REFLECTION:

I really liked this project better than most of the other projects we did. I liked the fact we did it on the computer and it was not a written essay. I feel as though doing the project on a blog made it easier to focus on just the information because I did not have to worry about the details that go into writing a formal essay. I also enjoyed and thought it was more fun doing it on a computer. I noticed myself learning a lot as I was working on this assigment. In the future I would like to do more projects similar to this one.

One thing that I did have a hard time with was ,what information to use. I used multiple sources but the information was different from one another. I had to use my instinct and pick and choose which peices of information to use for what part. This taught me how to make an educated decision and find the best source.

I found that working on this project was easier for me than all the other projects. I had no trouble finding the information. I,actually ,enjoyed reading about Samuel Adams.

C: what is this person famous or infamous for?

I feel that I am a very famous person among the political group. Every time there is some sort of meeting, or group, people elect me to be in it, or to come and represent them. I am also often asked to write extremely important documents. I am famous for my ability to persuade people and for my strongly written writings. People know that I get things done. I feel as though people are starting to realize my goal of uniting all Americans against the British!

F: if this person had an opposition, who were the person's foes?

I cannot believe General Gage. He told all the other men that he would excuse them for going against those redcoats if he could have just me and Hancock. General Gage offered a reward to anyone who could find me! I pity the fool for thinking that he could get past me, HA! And he thinks I'm the arch-traitor! He is the one who is siding with the idea that the king is doing nothing wrong! He is now my enemy! Another rival of mine is ,Thomas Hutchinson. When I was younger, my father was involved in some sort of business with a bank. Thomas closed it down, which caused my family to lose a great deal of our money. But on top of that, he told everyone one who lost money in that business too, that they could sue my father for what happened to them! I spent so much time protecting my father in court, and I had just gotten out of college! Enemies will always be there, but the trick is to know how to handle them!
